Any of this experiences is a must for naturalists! You will be amazed by the creatures of the night, and also have the chance of supporting conservation by visiting places like the Largest Private Reserve in Costa Rica: The Children's Eternal Rainforest, a Rescue Center or a Bees Sanctuary.

Night Walks:
A nighttime exploration! Discover the wildlife in an extraordinary way, during the night other creatures are awake, such as frogs, snakes, insects, there is a chance of seeing mammals and sleeping birds too. We will be waking for around 2 hours spotting as much as we can (like a scavenger hunt!) we will check the gardens & the secondary forest as well; at the end we will enjoy a yummy dinner! locally prepared.

• A visit to the Children’s Eternal Rainforest, Pocosol Biological Station:
One of the most biodiverse places on earth, a hotspot on eBird with +400 different species of birds. Up to 10km of trails, a waterfall from a viewpoint, an old crater lagoon, and a Ceiba tree, the trails offer patches of primary lush forest, so there is a chance of seeing other wildlife like mammals and reptiles.
- Duration: Full-day (6-8 hours)
- Tour time: 6:30am (you can take breakfast to go)
- Minimum: 2 people

Finca Steller: Children’s Eternal Rainforest (only 5 min away from the lodge by walk!)
The entrance is a good place to check for sloths, up to 5km of trails, moderate hike, secondary forest at a 600mts (1968 ft) elevation, with a big Ceiba Tree, a nice viewpoint for the northern lowlands and a small creek (we call it cold jacuzzi, so take your swimming suits for a fresh jump!). This forest is home to the smallest of the Motmots.
- Duration: 2 -3 hours
- Tour time: 8:30am
- Minimum: 2 people
- Recommended ages: 11-80 yrs. old (depending on your physical condition)

A visit to a Rescue Center:
Costa Rica does not have any zoos, only rescue centers, where animals that have been struck by lightning, hit by a car, or a dog has caught them, get recovered and then released back into nature, if you would like to learn about them and support a good cause, this is the right place to do it, very educational, immersive and respectful about wildlife!

Honeybee’s tour:
On this interactive workshop you will learn about the biodiversity of bee species in Costa Rica, how bees protect & build their homes, as well as how they produce honey, also we will get info about the important of bees and their role in our environment. At the end you will harvest & taste more than 10 different types of honey.
